Glencoul cottage is purpose built in a traditional Highland style. It is insulated, double-glazed, furnished and equipped to a high standard and is extremely warm and comfortable. The living room, kitchen and double bedroom all enjoy outstanding views over the loch.
Accommodation comprises one double and one single bedroom, living-room, open plan kitchen/dining room and a bathroom with bath and shower. Kitchen equipment includes an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster.
There is satellite TV with DVD player.
All beds have duvets. There is an electric blanket available for the double bed. Linen and towels are provided. A laundry service is available. A cot and high chair can be provided on request when booking. The living-room has a solid fuel stove, (fuel is included), and electric heating is installed throughout the property. Electricity meter takes old and new £1 coins.
The large garden and woodland area around the cottage extends to the shore of Loch Glencoul. On the shore is a small hide for observing wildlife. The cottage has a picnic table and clothes drier.
